Dwight Tostenson is Chief Financial Officer at Center of the American Experiment where he reports to and works with the president to set financial policy and direction for the organization. He actively participates in yearly budgeting, provides financial information to the president to support the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan. He provides the president with short and long-term financial projections to facilitate budgeting and cash flow management decisions and works to preserve the financial health of the organization. He also provides oversite of the audit activities and process, approves all financial reporting materials and ensures financial record systems are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Tostenson also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Intellectual Takeout a non-profit digital media education organization dedicated to promoting the great minds, ideas, and principles of Western tradition through the use of Intellectual Takeout’s website and numerous Facebook pages.
Tostenson received his B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from Winona State University. He is married with three children and is the fourth generation to live on his great-grandfathers homestead in rural Nicollet, Minnesota.
