Internships
American Experiment is regularly looking for high-caliber conservative students to work with us as interns.
Interns will assist the Center’s policy staff in areas related to health care, energy, the environment, and education. The extent to which an intern focuses on one or the other will depend on the interns interests and experience. Interns will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the office.
In addition to these responsibilities, interns will attend events sponsored by American Experiment and other local groups intended to introduce them to conservative ideas and the policymaking process. We further encourage interns to articulate their own policy ideas through a writing project.
All interns must demonstrate strong research, writing, and organizational skills. In particular, interns must have a strong background in utilizing online research databases.
To apply for an internship, please forward a resume and short writing sample to Dwight Tostenson at dwight.tostenson [at] americanexperiment.org.
