Center of the American Experiment is sponsoring a series of quarterly lunch meetings focused on how liberal policies hurt the middle class, the poor and minorities. Our first lunch will be held on Thursday, February 18th featuring Jason L. Riley, author of Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make it Harder for Blacks to Succeed. Jason will explain how many policies designed to help African Americans actually harm them. Thomas Sowell wrote in the National Review, “Riley’s brief comments pack a lot of punch. For example, ‘Having a black man in the Oval Office is less important than having one in the home.'”

Jason Riley is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and columnist for the Wall Street Journal, where he is a member of the Editorial Board. Riley also is a frequent commentator on Fox News. In addition to his latest book, he also authored Let Them In, published in 2008.

Pre-ordered individual ticket price for the lunch is $25.00. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $30.00.
