Fracking: 101 – A Video

You may have heard that hydraulic fracturing, also known as “fracking,” has made the United States the largest producer of oil and natural as in the world, but you may be wondering: “How does fracking affect the environment?”

In my previous job as a Research Fellow at The Heartland Institute, I delivered a presentation on the environmental and economic impacts of fracking. Watch the video of my presentation from the summer of 2015 below to learn:

  • Where does our energy come from?
  • What is fracking and why do we do it?
  • How does fracking impact the environment?
  • How much is fracking saving you at the gas pump and on your home heating bill?
  • What does Isaac look like if he shaves?

Enjoy your weekend and I hope to see you at the Annual Dinner Gala with Tucker Carlson tomorrow!
