School Closures Map

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to force widespread school closures across the country, use the interactive map below created by Education Week to see the status of individual states.

In Minnesota, Governor Walz has ordered all public schools (charters included) to close as of today, March 18 through Friday, March 27. This affects over 875,000 public school students. Tribal and private schools have been encouraged to follow suit.
