Catrin Thorman is a Policy Fellow at Center of the American Experiment. She is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
After college, Catrin interned for The Heritage Foundation and developed an interest in education policy. She then spent two years teaching in Arizona as a Teach for America corps member before joining the California Policy Center where she researched and reported on education policy issues.
Besides experience in education and policy research, Catrin has a background in Wisconsin politics. She volunteered for Governor Scott Walker and Senator Sheila Harsdorf prior to their recall elections and interned for U.S. Senator Ron Johnson.
