Jeff Johnson is an Adjunct Policy Fellow at Center of the American Experiment. He is also a Hennepin County Commissioner and president and founder of Midwest Employment Resources, a firm providing employment law training, investigation and mediation services to businesses throughout the country. He has previously practiced law at Cargill, Inc. and with firms in Minneapolis and Chicago.
Jeff is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He was the Republican candidate for Minnesota governor in 2014 and 2018 and is a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives.
Jeff and his wife, Sondi, live in Plymouth, Minnesota with their sons Thor and Rolf.
