More FBI raids on fraud-linked businesses

This morning, the FBI raided two dozen more Minnesota businesses linked to fraud.

Federal agents raid the Somali Senior Center & Adult Day Services in Minneapolis this morning

More than 20 search warrants were executed across the Twin Cities today as part of ongoing investigations into Somali fraud.

The Somali Senior Center is located on Park Avenue in south Minneapolis. KSTP reports that a separate childcare center at that same address was also raided today.

It was one of a number of fraud-linked addresses on that same Park Avenue block that I visited back in June 2022.

Lou Raguse of KARE-11 TV reports that five autism centers were among the 22 businesses raided. How ironic, as the Star Tribune ran an article just two weeks ago, under the headline,

Medicaid fraud at Minnesota autism centers was said to be rampant. Two people have been charged
