Sarah Montalbano is a Policy Fellow at Center of the American Experiment, where she writes about energy and environmental issues, including renewable energy, land use, and natural resource development. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum Center for Energy and Conservation, and a StateBeat fellow with Young Voices.

Prior to joining Center of the American Experiment, Sarah was the Policy Manager at the Alaska Policy Forum, where she researched and commented on energy, education, healthcare, and state fiscal issues. Her work covering public lands and logging management in the Tongass National Forest has been featured in The Wall Street Journal. Sarah’s writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, National Review, the Washington Examiner, RealClearEnergy, C3 Solutions, and many more publications.

Sarah grew up in Wasilla, Alaska, and graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in computer science and minors in economics and data science.
