All in a day’s work for St. Paul’s most senior officer

Thursday morning St. Paul Police Officer Bill Beaudette displayed remarkable courage in saving the lives of 4 young children left alone in a duplex that caught on fire.

All in a days work for Officer Beaudette. He’s St. Paul’s most senior officer, and continues to patrol after 29 years to make St. Paul just a little safer.

Fittingly he recently received the Richard H. Rowan Award, which is awarded to an officer who exemplifies legacy, leadership, integrity, courage and innovation.

Chances are more recognition is in his future.

Well done, sir. You represent the badge well.
