After spending the entire $17.6 billion surplus and taking Minnesota off the cliff with liberal policies in the 2023 session, Gov. Tim Walz and the Minnesota legislature will go easy on us in 2024, right? Don’t be so sure. American Experiment’s John Hinderaker and Jim Schultz of the Minnesota Private Business Council will lead a panel discussion with policy experts including economist John Phelan and NFIB’s state director John Reynolds to provide an update on the 2024 legislative session. How much of this year’s surplus will they spend? Will Minnesota become a sanctuary state? What new regulations will be placed on businesses? Will we still be able to catch an Uber to the airport?
