As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we are proud to host Montana Senator Tim Sheehy as our Annual Dinner speaker. Senator Sheehy grew up in Minnesota and attended American Experiment Annual Dinners as a high school student. He went on to the Naval Academy and became a Navy SEAL.

As a SEAL Team Leader, he saw combat in Afghanistan and Iraq and served in South America. As a mini-submarine pilot and navigator, he carried out sensitive national security missions. Sheehy was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for Heroism in Combat, Purple Heart Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, Army Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Ranger Tab, and other individual unit awards.

After retiring from the service in 2014, Sheehy became an entrepreneur, founding Bridger Aerospace, Ascent Vision Technologies, and Little Belt Cattle Company. He was elected to the U.S. Senate from Montana in 2024. Sheehy and his wife Carmen, a Marine Corps veteran, have four children.

Don’t miss this special evening celebrating the defense of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as we approach 250 years of American independence.
