With Minnesota’s public safety strategies at a crossroads, it is more important than ever to ensure those strategies are built on solid information and not hopeful narratives. Please join Center of the American Experiment for a luncheon event with Rafael Mangual, Manhattan Institute Policy Fellow and author of Criminal (In)Justice – What the push for decarceration and depolicing gets wrong and who it hurts most. Mangual’s book lays out a compelling case against the criminal justice reform movement that suggests less policing and less incarceration will improve public safety. American Experiment Policy Fellow David Zimmer will join Mangual to discuss the prevalence of these ideas in Minnesota, and why and how we should not accept them. Register below!

Tickets are $35 and include a copy of Mangual’s book Criminal (In)justice.
