The Crime Crisis: Building community trust and safe neighborhoods.

Rising crime is a major concern for most Minnesotans, but what can community members do about it? Join Center of the American Experiment for a presentation and panel discussion on Tuesday, March 15th led by local law enforcement leaders and crime experts. The presentation will cover current crime trends, an overview of the criminal justice system, the role of key officials in fighting crime, and proven strategies to reduce crime. Because fighting crime is primarily a local, community-based endeavor, attendees will learn what they can do to build a strong relationship of mutual trust between law enforcement agencies and their community, a critical step to maintaining public safety and effective policing.
