Fraud

Thank you for your articles on all of the fraud that has been happening throughout the years. It makes me realize why so many people have left Minnesota for other states. I would also like to see conversations about hardworking Minnesotans who have paid high state taxes and how we could be reimbursed for the fraudulent behaviors! It’s discouraging to see our funds floating away. Thank you. We appreciate your stand.

Paid Leave

Very interesting article. You showed how the costs of the projected use (users X weekly amount X number of weeks). Where does the cost of the state bureaucracy figure in? Also, the statement that the program would be policed for fraud, like other state programs, doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. But, being Minnesota, I’m not surprised the mainstream media isn’t doing the same analysis and investigating as you.

Thanks for your efforts on behalf of Minnesota taxpayers, whether they want it or not.

The work continues

This time of the year, we reflect on everything we are thankful for. I can’t begin to articulate my appreciation for the research and reporting that is done through American Experiment. May you continue to have the courage to delve into topics that mainstream media wishes to stay away from.

Thank you so very much.

Cover to cover

First, I’m sorry to hear of Tom Steward’s death, R.I.P. Second, Katherine Kersten on the K-12 Social Studies radical mandate from Gov. Tim Walz and the DFL state legislature was very good. John Phelan on the Minnesota Star Tribune’s “Greater Minnesota reporter” surprise at clean fields — real people out here are not surprised, but one word of caution: 50 percent of our corn is now burned in ethanol, and beans are going the same route.

Thank you for the heads-up regarding Minneapolis’s camera-based law enforcement citations. Either avoid the old “Minneapolis” or drive very cautiously.
