Supporting our heroes — Saturday, June 29, at the Capitol

Hometown Heroes Outdoors, a non-profit supporting our first responders and military members has organized an event at the Minnesota State Capitol to show support for our heroes on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 9:45 a.m – 11:00 a.m.

A tribute video entitled “Behind the Uniform: The Silent Battle, will be made during the event. “Your participation will be part of the final segment, showcasing our collective gratitude and shedding light on the difficult jobs and mental health challenges these professions face.”

“Our first responders—police officers, firefighters, dispatch, EMS, military, and veterans—sacrifice to keep us safe every day. Let’s show them our support and stand together in a show of gratitude.

In light of the recent tragedies in the first responder profession, join us at the Minnesota Capitol front steps on June 29th at 9:45 a.m. to show your support. We will stand in silence, holding signs that reflect our gratitude and respect for those who serve our country and communities.”
