Map: State education systems respond to coronavirus

Students, teachers, and families are adjusting to distance learning as the novel coronavirus disease has temporarily shut down schools across the country.

Governor Walz has ordered Minnesota schools to remain closed through May 4. A waiver has been granted to the state for the accountability requirement of statewide testing in the 2019-20 school year. No announcement has been made yet on any changes to high school graduation requirements.
