Alert: Draft two of MN social studies standards now available
The long-awaited second draft of Minnesota’s K-12 academic standards in social studies has been published by the Minnesota Department of Education.
American Experiment is currently reviewing the 168-page document and will provide a detailed analysis on its content shortly.

The public comment period on the second draft is open today (July 30) through 5 p.m. on August 16.
MDE has listed a public comment survey where Minnesotans can provide feedback on the second draft as a whole and/or comment on individual standards and benchmarks. Comments can also be sent via email to [email protected] or sent via postal mail, postmarked by August 16, to:
