I mentioned during the webinar that many of the Feeding Our Future defendants also owned other businesses subsidized by other agencies of state and local government. Deena Winter of MN Reformer digs deeper into the business operations of Gandi Mohamed, Defendant No. 69 in the case, in a piece you can read here.
We also talked about the political donations of the defendants. I’ve updated this table to include donations by the latest batch of defendants to politicians based in Minneapolis.
Please note that city officials Mayor Jacob Frey and councilman Jeremiah Ellison may have additional donors not shown above. The city’s campaign finance database does not include addresses or employers that would enable matches to be confirmed.
